    Hi All,
I have 2 cats who refuse to share a litter box, we can't even put the boxes near each other.

About a month ago I rescued a Kitty Litter container Max Cat or some such from a the recycling bin. The container is plastic with a lid that opens 3/4 and snaps shut, it also has a handle for transport.

Anyways my tip .... I put a plastic bag inside the container and carry it from one litter box to the other and scoop the clumps into it. The lid snaps shut airtight so no odour escapes.
I have gone from 14 plastic bags on to 1 bag every 14 days(trash p/u is every other week)
here). It's a little thing but I'm sure it makes a difference.

Hope someone can use this tip and or pass it on to someone else who can. Razz

I bought a plastic trash can with a tight-fitting lid and do the same thing. But I have 3 cat boxes, 2 upstairs and one down. So I bought 2 trash cans, one for up, the other for down. I made sure the trash can could use plastic grocery bags for liners. I go through 2 bags/week upstairs and 1 down stairs.
