I picked up this book yesterday. Misty eyed, laughing, remembering my dog companions and THINKING about life from a dog's perspective........
Has anyone else read it?

I've haven't read it but I know it would probably get me bawling like a baby...I get too mushy and sentimental when it comes to my furbabies. Wink

After reading the first 2 chapters of puppy's life I realized "A Dogs Purpose" might require
tissues and steeled myself to continue reading....then, I couldn't put it down!
I was so intrigued with the tales, ( parts invoked memories of sharing my home with pure bred & mutt puppies, teenage & adult rescues and coping with a canine friends health issues), I forgot this story is 1st person, told by a dog.... to educate us humans.
I gotta re-read it! soon!

I have the book but haven't read it yet. From your recommendations I think I will start it this week. Thanks for the push!

You don't have to be an animal lover to love this book! It goes right to the mystery of life and death and faith and belief...wouldn't it be something if we humans were allowed this privilege?

I read "Until Tuesday" last fall. It is a powerful and real look at PTSD. Tuesday most certainly has a "purpose".
