Got her on Monday, and she has full access to entire house. Kept her in big bathroom during the day and at night until Thursday. Eating, drinking, and finding litter box just fine. FLYING up and down stairs. Can get onto couch in one leap. Can climb up onto bed. Friday night was first "free" night. Figured I would have to test her eventually. She started up on the bed but hopped off after a while. Knew I'd be up/down all night if I checked on her every time. A total success!

Took what I thought was a "loaner" carrier back to shelter and they told me to keep it!! Nice, big one with small door or one end and big door that covers most of the top. Shelter will do rabies for free when she's old enough... in August. Flyer at shelter for a local vet that will do first check up for FREE!! She'll be getting stitches out from spaying at end of the week.

Tried to post a picture but it was too BIG?? Was able to attach picture thru total trial and error and wild guessing, but NOT a techie at all. Have NO clue how to resize pictures to have the right amount of kilo-whackers... or is that milli-smackers... or is that hecto-peckers??

"thatchairlady," I'm so happy to hear that your new fur baby is settling in so nicely. I take it you decided to name her "Junie Moon?" Bet it takes a while for those of us on the board to remember it - "Velcro" really caught on! Big Grin

Keep posting all the fun things she does; many of us haven't had a kitten for so long and we miss them! Wink

Junie Moon is a very cute name.
I'm very happy for you both.
If you want to re-size the pics and you have W*ndows, right click on the pic and click on "open with" then click on "paint" then on top click "image" then click "stretch and skew" then change the horizontal and vertical to 50%.
Can't wait to see your new furbaby!

Idaho, I can't take the credit for that. It was Sheltie who helped me, back when I was trying to first post the pics of Patches and Fluffy. Speaking of which, I haven't seen her around lately.

I can't wait to see a pic! I'm so happy that you found her!

Here is an easy way to resize a pic. My computer doesn't have paint and I saw that someone had posted this free site, so that is what I use. http://gui.picresize.com/picresize2/

Click browse, attach your file and upload. After it uploads click resize and a window will pop up. I ususally resize to 50% and it works. After it resizes, right click and save picture. I can't remember who posted it, but I'm so glad they did!

"thatchairlady," Wow, I just love Junie Moon's photograph. Glad you figured out how to post it thanks to all the smart people on this board who know how to do those 'tech' things!

Thought she was adorable in all ways but I was particularly mesmerized by her eyes - seems like she is looking right into your soul. So glad the two of you have found each other!

PS. Bet Gracie is wagging her tail at the Rainbow Bridge as she successfully sent you, first to that yard sale, and then to the right place to find Junie Moon! Smile
