WE LOST OUR FIRST GREAT DANE WHO WAS ONLY 5 YRS OLD TO BLOAT.. IT HAPPENED VERY QUICKLY AND WE WERE DEVASTATED.. IT IS HORRIBLE.THANK GOODNESS WE HAVE HAD SEVERAL DANES SINCE WITH NO PROBLEMS ..

Only five yrs old, so young...I am very sorry for your loss.

You should post some pics of your Danes.

So sorry to hear about your loss. It's never easy losing a loved one. Great Danes have huge kind hearts of gold and are truly gentle giants. Unfortunately giant dogs have short lifespans. I have a 5 year old Dane and I am terrified of bloat. I take every possible precaution and have been lucky so far. There are a couple of Dane people here and we love to talk about our babies. Please post more about your others.

I love them!!! Mini-Me and Mojo. What a pair. How did you ever train them to hold biscuits? I'm getting a big chuckle looking at them.
