Bandit went to the other side Saturday morning. He couldn't find any position to lay in or sit that felt good for him. His legs had gotten shakey and he couldn't make it up the stairs so I spent the last couple of nights on the sofa with him next to me. Everything was happening faster than I had expected. I called the vet Friday late afternoon and took him before the office opened on Saturday. He's in no pain now and I know in my head and heart I did the right thing. He lived a very fulfilled ten years and I was very lucky to have him in my life!

((((HUGS)))) to you Carolyn. I am afraid my Duncan will be joining Bandit soon and I am not ready! It is SO hard to lose our precious furkids but I truly think we are very lucky to have them love us as they do.

Ten years seem so short, don't they? This is the very worst thing about having a pet. But still the good outweighs the bad. Such joy and love he brought to you while he was alive.
