Well, it seems very few are posting on the Pet Board now days so I just thought I would ask what your four-legged critters have been up to lately? I know mine are hyper-viligent - running from window to window and then rolling in the big sun spots with the coming of summer.

Our White Mulberry that has born berries this year is a BIG attraction... so many birds, so little time! So what have your fur-babies been doing lately? Cool

no photos, BUT a reminder to innoculate critters before heading out for a walk about:
West Nile arrived in NorCal early (confirmed).
Fleas and ticks, also early (usually no need to apply preventative until mid July)
An early rattlesnake hatch too - the innoculation that has saved the lives of horses is now available for dogs too.

Vet & I are inent on finding the right doseage of thyroid med for my latest rescue. the ^&&%%#!! once-upon-a-time ground squirrels aka tree rats and grophers are infesting my yard with fleas 0 whine!

Son's cat Toby (I've posted his photo before) is on Janet Evanovich's website. (She's an author.)

I submitted the photo:

Son was surprised!

Oh, he's #14.

KYIS, That is so very, very cool! I love Janet Evanovich's books - I've read ALL of her Stephanie Plum books (and saw the movie, too)! Cool

I think I remember when you posted Toby's photograph in that pose here first - what a great shot - thanks for sharing! Smile

Gee, what are the odds that I'd stop by this board for the first time in a while and you're looking for photos!

Jovi turned 2 years old on May 28th. We celebrate with "Birthday Steak" around here!

She really loves playing ball.

But she's still good at "pretty girl" poses too!

ETA: As for what's new, well in additon to agility I'm trying a new sport with her. Herding! She had her 2nd lesson yesterday.
You can see a very short video of it here:
Hmm, doesn't seem to want to embed the URL so I guess I'll do it the hard way. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLjHS-MOqII

Wow I am impressed. Can't believe that's the second lesson, Jovi is doing fine. I've read about it especially in Jon Katz's books and the trouble he had but Jovi seems to be quite good.

Jovi is such a beautiful dog. She is so photogenic!!

I have a pic to post of one of the ferals that hangs around our house if I can ever figure out how photoshop works. Argh!!

He showed up at the neighbors about 4 months ago. It looked like someone had pepper sprayed him. He cried for 3 days. I took him in a month or so ago to get him neutered and his eye looked at. I don't know if pepper spray got in his eye, but it's never been right. Poor guy. He's all white with a beautiful green eye.

Ok, here's the little guy that's been hanging around. Got him neutered. Also, trapped his sister and got her spayed.
