Hi i have a Boston terrier and he has cataract and it is 3,000.00 and that is hard to pull out right after Christmas.Do anyone know of any drops or anything that will help? YHANKS

Regional vet prices can be very different, depending on your location/part of the country. If there is a vet teaching school you can take the dog to, they may be less expensive.
The only dog I knew that had the cataract surgery was at the Kansas veterinary school. It was an eleven year old Fox terrier, that lived for a couple more years...but continued to have other health issues. Not sure it was really worth it to the dog.

BTW, I have known several blind dogs that got along just fine for many years. They tend to be very adaptable.

My 15+ yr. old rescue Chihuahua has cataracts. I don't think he's aware, still runs around, acts like a puppy, same as always.

Leave well enough alone.
