I have a 6 x 9 area carpet. I just realized that my shiz poo has been peeing in one particular spot on this carpet. I purchased Natures' Miracle and shampood the carpet corner with it as well as continually spraying that particular spot. The smell is not quite as strong as it was originally, but can I ever get the smell to completely go away?
Any other suggestions. |

"tryinghard," I've read about the benefits of Natures Miracle on this Board many times but have never used it myself. Where did you buy it?
I do know that many posters have said to absolutely soak the area with it. Did you do that or just use it lightly? If only lightly, you might make to re-do it, saturating the area and letting it dry before vacuuming. Good Luck and post back how it goes... |

Thank you Idaho for your prompt reply. I purchased the product at Pet Smart.
I think I did have it fairly wet however, I will redo it again. I will post back to let you know how it goes. Thank you again for your response. |

The other thing is that you also need to lift the carpet and make sure that you use it on the padding and also, maybe on the floor underneathe the padding. Idaho is right, you need to really soak the area with it.It is really great stuff for eliminating ordurs(sp). In fact, here is my story about using it. My sister ownes a Kennal and used it all the time. I am an RN(retired). Befor I retired I worked in a nursing home and we had a resident that had gangreen in her foot and leg,but refussed(as did her family) to have it amputated. Let me tell you, there is nothing in the world that smells worse then ganggreen! At my wits end, I got some Nature's Miracle from my sister and used it on the outside of the dressings(not next to the wound) of that patient as well as putting a small dish of it on the window sill in her room, it solved the odur problem and made it possiable for the patient to have visitors that did not "gag" when they were in the room.
So, yes, as far as I am conserened, it really does work. I think that you should be able to get it at any good pet store. HTH, msmarymac2 |

Idaho is right, you need to saturate the area. But you also need to let it dry naturally. And you need to use enough that it takes several hours to dry.
Since its a removable rug I would remove it, take it out in the driveway, and clean it there. While its out you can clean the surface under it. ***************************** |
