Its cat-recognition software. It recognizes the 4-keys-at-once you get when your cat walks on your keyboard. It also recognizes the 10-or-more-keys when the cat lays down for a nap. When the program see that pattern it freezes the keyboard and makes a loud noise to scare the cat away.

No, I'm not selling it. And I'm not buying it. But its too funny not to share.

Callie will take notions to just crash out..but neither have ever messed with the keyboards. We always slide the keyboard "thingy" underneath when not in use (desk came that way Wink)

That's so funny. When Buzz gets up on my desk he takes up the whole desk. But when he wants to get down, instead of going down the way he came up, he has to walk across my keyboard. Fortunately, he's figured out how to walk on the padded portion of the keyboard tray, you know the one you pull out from under the desk, so basically he straddles the keyboard, but the only way he'll jump down is if I move my leg so he can step on it first. Weird cat. LOL

Dutch (LOL) who knows why cats do funny things. Both of mine have little quirks like that. They also have little daily routines that I can just about mark by the clock!LOL I think it would be fairly easy for me to tell if anything is ever wrong with either of them due to being so pred i c table~ Razz

"JoW," Thanks for a great post and a funny! My cats (five in all; all indoor-only) have strict instructions about the computer! I ask them very sincerely "do you want the keyboard or food to eat?"

They always vote for the food! I think it has something to do with my tone of voice plus they are probably bored at my Internet choices! Just bumping this one up to get rid of a bad one! Wink

These are older pictures but it shows some of the problems I have on-line. Douglas just ALWAYS wants to be in my lap when I am playing with the computer.

Now, if that program had a little swiffer that popped out from the screen to get rid of all the cat hair stuck from static electricity....I'd definitely buy it!! LOL

Now how clever is that!

I have a picture of my Mitten when he was a kitten and he looks just like he is using the computer. It is so cute. Maybe I can take it somewhere to have it made digital in form to post it for you guys.

One of my kitties jumped up on the keyboard once and poof, all of my email was gone. Kind of startled me but I learned my lesson.
