Of course, I thought about the song, lol! I have never watched Project Runway...will have to record it. DH was admitted to the hospital an hour ago...cat bite/infection (he's a diabetic), so I won't be at home.

I felt a little bad for the one who went home, even thought his dress was bad. His "client" didn't like the original fabric, he had to start over and then she walked the runway with a scowl on her face. And what's with the excuses? "we only had 10 hours" so did everyone else and they managed just fine. I'm liking this season so far.
I loved the winning design and the enthusiasm of the "client".
DD and I watched a Hallmark movie but when I saw the ending and runway show, I liked the brown pleated bodice dress with the open back that fell into the "satisfactory" category. That was very effective and the client looked happy with it. Kendall's dress needed color at the neckline..a flower or pearls or something but the lines were very nice. IMHO the dress I mentioned above should have won.

Saw snippets (ha ha - pun) of it last night, between getting home 15 minutes into it, trying to watch the Olympics, and taking a phone call from DS. Have it recorded so will watch it later. But my first impression is MINUS 10 to everyone for bad hemming! The white one in particular, coming down the runway -- hem looked & moved all wonky/rolly.
And what the heck are they hinting at for next week...everyone abandons ship, or wants to????

What really surprised me was that is was a emmy red carpet challenge and the one that won was a short dress. It was however perfect for Kendell. There were several I liked and several I didn't. Didn't really have a favorte. I too felt sorry for the one that went home. It wasn't really his fault. The dress was not good though.I only saw the runway part when I was doing something else at the same time-I think the long white one was too plain and not different.
As soon as I saw the gap-y arm hole & halter neckline on the left side of Alicia & Raul's dress as it came down the runway, I figured heads would roll...
Oh, and thank goodness Anya didn't try to sit down in her dress -- that slit! The back looked like it was pulling -- bad fit?
I like Nathan & Sonjia's dress (sequins). I think the fabric made that dress -- no fancy folds or draping necessary. I liked the V in the back. Looks like it fit her well.
And why did I guess that someone would once again come up with something all pleated & folded? Nice, but after week 3, show us what else you can do with fabric, please. This message has been edited. Last edited by: StarrySky,

I think Ven's stuff is all the same, he might be a one trick pony. I wasn't impressed with any of them. They were all kinda sad, boring, or poorly done. I was frustrated by the one cry-baby who wanted to throw the "older" woman under the bus. She was trying to be pleasant when things were stressful, and he was just irritating. I don't like to say such harsh stuff, but it bugged me. I am not using names in case anyone hasn't seen it yet.
Boy, I sure picked up his stress, though, when it took her 11 hours to just cut the material. They only had a few hours left to make the dress! aauuuuuuuuughhhhhhhhh!
