The tracking is correct. I received blocks today from Quilter Jen and bjeannes. I have lots of pretty hearts in my living room.

Sending my blocks tomorrow. I have about 30 minutes left on one block and then they are DONE!! My personal computer ungraciously died a couple of weeks ago. Haven't had time to look for a replacement so I am using my work computer. Sorry for the lack of communication. I'll send the tracking number. Enjoy!

Great to hear from you Jane - sorry about the computer problems - I know how that can be.

Ladies - I will be switching out the blocks Sunday afternoon after my 5k walk and will mail Monday after work. Hopefully you will all have them by the end of next week.

I am planning to turn mine into a wall hanging with 3 x3 blocks. Haven't decided if I am going to use a novelty heart fabric for a border or a tone on tone fabric for the border, but I will wait for the blocks to come. I am leaning towards a final fabric so the hearts show up

kmouse - so sorry to hear you were in the hospital - short stay or not, that is not a good way to spend your time. Hope you are feeling better. I will not be swapping these out until Sunday so Saturday's mail is just fine.

Take care of yourself!

Tisme, Quiltaholic and Handie Ann - thanks for letting me know, I will keep a look out for them.

Ely is the only one I have not heard from - I will send her an email tonight - I have not seen her on the boards since she talked about leaving for her trip.

Ladies - my doorbell just rang and there were three lovely packages from kmouse, Quiltaholic and Ely/Syssy. Thank you ladies for everything!!!

Q - I am keeping one of the blocks you asked me to keep but not for the reason you asked it. I am keeping it because it is sooooo clever and cute. I have wanted to do that design as a stencil on my hard wood floors for awhile. You are too hard on yourself.

I am off to the tattoo shop and hopefully tisme's blocks will be in the regular mail which usually comes around 4pm my time. I think I am two hours behind most of you now that we jumped forward an hour.

I am so glad they arrived before sorting and so is Elizabeth. We are chatting right now and I told her that they were there.

I am glad you like that one and if I had've had time I would have re-stitched it. Might still do that.. I am glad I remembered those videos. Smile

That must be some kind of record!! I can't believe they made it all that way so fast. If you got yours others must have gotten theirs.

I will list everyone here and remove your name as you receive:

You would have thought the ones that stayed on the west coast would have arrived at least a day earlier than the ones on the east coast!?! I can't figure out the post office. I send to my Mom in Arizona and it can take up to two weeks to get to her.

I thought I was going to use the blocks to make a lap quilt for myself but I just found out a close friend of mine is having major surgery next week so now I have decided they will be used for her. Since I was in both groups I might keep a few for myself.

Thank you for the beautiful work. My blocks arrived today in Chesapeake Virginia. This was my first swap of any kind and I didn't know what to expect. Plain Jane here was way too simple, you all did such creative work I feel overwhelmed. Thank you also to our wonderful coordinator for managing this coast to coast project. Two groups was no easy task!
