I finished my DB scotty snuggly, I have about 15 yrds of this fabric left so I'll be making him a bed size quilt also, but I think I'll be doing this box block type quilt I seen on someone blog. It's simple but I loved it.

That is terrific! You did such a great job with the fabric choices!

That is so cute and fun! Are those paw prints in the border and tiny dog bones in the triangles that aren't plaid?

This was so much fun to make. The white had small black paw prints and red & black have bones. The binding is the fabric that has dog talk words like Woof, Grrrrrr, Sniff, and one fabric has small scotties with red jacket on it. I would have used the plaid for the border but thought it might be a bit hard to match it up in the corners. I put the black with white paw prints as the backing. I PP the jacket and dogs ( the only way I could figure how to get the jackets on with out bulk) then sewed the fusible interfacing to them and turned them. It really was pretty simple.

WOW!!!! That is just adorable. I have a friend that loves and rescues Scotties, she would "die" for a quilt like this.

Love it! We used to have Scotties. They are so sweet, but stubborn as mules! I'll have to make a scottie quilt one of these days to remember them by. We had 3, one at a time...all named Whiskers. I hope my quilt turns out as great as yours.
