That's cool! At first I thought it was just a block - but it's a whole quilt!

I do wish you people would stop giving me more ideas! I will have to live 3 lives just to get what I want to do NOW done...

You could easily make it any size, from mug rugs to king size!

I used HST's in purple and greens that was assymetric like that. But the blocks were 3" so used a LOT more. If it were bedside it might be hard to center on the bed. LOL

I like it being off-center, very pretty and interesting, but overall kind of a boring quilt with very few pieces. (in my opinion anyway)

It says the quilt is sixty one inches square which makes each block roughly fifteen inches. I agree that it is kind of boring but would look fantastic if the blocks were much smaller. But I love scrappy. Maybe one who likes modern or contemporary would like it. sandy

I finally found the photo I saved of the black white and touch of red quilt made from the sapphire pattern. I didn't believe it at first but it was.

Thanks for sharing this! Twostep, I especially like that Black and red one. Wouldn't this be an easy and quick pattern to make for the Quilts of Valor project? It could easily be adjusted to their size requirements.

Chl absolutely. I still can't believe the redblackwhite quilt came from that sapphire pattern. AND it would make a beautiful QOV quilt.

My GS who is 12 thinks he might want the redblackwhite quilt for his new, really bright painted red wall bedroom. You need sunglasses to enter.

The blue one is kind of cold looking. I really like the black, red, and white one.
