This is where you would find the best answers http://groups.yahoo.com/group/homequiltingsystems/ i dont believe you need to join to look in the database.(or it is in the file section) There, you will find what machines are being used on what frames. I had a Gracie Pro with a Juki on it. it worked pretty good, when i could get the hang of it. i had it set up in a heated basement. I got discouraged and with FMS, i just could not work it properly. I sold it. Some things to think about or ask yourself: 1. Is your brother heavy? is it your only machine? if it is, you will be taking it on and off the frame. IMHO, not worth the hassel. 2. How big is the throat on your brother. i think my juki had a 9" throat. That is a lot of back and forth on the frame.. 3. is there a quilt shop near you, that has a set up already, that would be willing to teach you how to work it properly. I didn't. I am not trying to tell you not to get it, but there are things to think about. The Gracie Pro was a lot of money for me.. Go to the message board i posted, and talk to them..you will find out a lot of pros and cons and help with your possible set up. | ||||
