I have already finished the base of my stocking. I am doing a CQ stocking. I am currently working on a beaded embellishment. I decided to start with the most labor intensive embellishment first. It is in Xmas colors.
I will take a picture tomorrow and post it on this thread.

Hi ladies!

By now everyone has their SSSS name and might even be working on their stocking and gifts. Please be sure to read the Guidelines if you have any questions.

Mail by Date will be: DECEMBER 17th with confirmation. By mailing the packages out by the 15th it will give everyones package a week to get to its destination. I would like for EVERYONE to be in receipt of their stocking by Saturday the 22nd so we can all have our Annual Party to open our gifts together on Sunday night December 23rd.

JLu, I know I just mentioned to you it was by the 17th but I dont' think too many will be around to open on Christmas eve the 24th so I pushed it back a day.

... Fleur55 that is so pretty - that fabric in the shoe, is that some sheer thing over a color? Are those buttons or something on the front? The picture doesn't really show, but it is really a lovely 'sock'. Someone is going to be thrilled. I haven't watched this thread before - are they all this pretty?

JLu - Adorable stocking! hmmmmm I wonder who it's for? Big Grin

How's everyone doing? I pulled all my Christmas fabrics out yesterday and will be working on mine today. Haven't had the sewing machine out in a long time and have to admit... it feels good do be doing something other than hand stitching.

That's cute.

I finally got a paycheck so I am going to be able to buy the rest of the items to fill the stocking for my SSSS.

My prototypes are for my daughter's and family's stockings. I sure need the practice. Hoping my SSSS likes the one I made for her. It was the first one I made and I didn't mess anything up Smile

Do we need to send tracking numbers or anything?

I apologize for being MIA the last 3 weeks. I wasn't feeling well. However I have been making progress on the stocking and I will be ready in time for mailing. Here is a picture from a couple days ago. The beaded wreath isn't finished yet but sometimes I feel like working on a different part.

Here is a close-up on the wreath.
The wreath picture I took on Nov. 21. The stocking picture is from Nov 27.
I will be spending more time on it tomorrow.

Today we are off to my Father-in-law's as his wife passed away yesterday morning. She was 94 and had another severe stroke a week ago.

Karen, so very sorry to hear of your loss.

The sneek peaks of the stockings are so much fun to see! Looking forward to seeing many more the closer we get to mailing date. Remember ladies, you MUST put confirmaiton on your package and then email me with that number. When you have received your stocking, please let me know. Once I have at least 12 stockings that have been delivered I will start updating the list with Big Grin faces to indicate stocking received.

Tomorrow I am dedicating the afternoon to working on my stocking. Already have most of my little prezzie ready to wrap. How's everyone else coming along?

Well, I have the pattern and the fabric for my stocking, and some of the things to go in it, but it is in line at the moment. Just finishing up my 12 Days gifts and wrapping them today. Have to finish my Row Robin next (needs to be in the mail by the 10th), and then I can concentrate on my stocking and getting it in the mail before the 15th. Why, oh why, do I end up doing so many swaps in December?! Ah, well, I really love doing them. And I really like getting all those little presents!
