Weather sounds bad for a trip up the east coast anyway. Hopefully it will just be rain and over or not bad by Thursday.

Ladies, with the impending storm coming up the East coast, it is very possible that we might be without power for many days.

With that in mind, it might be necessary to postpone our get together. I'll post again on Monday night--Tuesday (hopefully) or call a board member to post for me. The last thing I want to do is leave my home if the power is out (besides, Katie is 15 years old tomorrow--Katie is my poodle) and I'm not leaving her in an unheated house.

So, stand by for further updates and stay safe!

She can check out some other treats here: http://www.threedog.com/Kansas...es-and-Pastries.html

Everyone stay safe and I hope that you are able to do the get-together next weekend as planned!

Nuquiltr, sorry you cannot join us. While Maine is a beautiful state, right now it's quite a mess. The rain is coming down in buckets and our area is in a flood watch. The ducks are already enjoying the backyard!

Thanks KC1930
It may be a mess, but I would still come if I could. Hope all of you have a real good time anyway. It will all dry out eventually. Been there, done that before.
Right now we are getting some of that wind, and it is colder.

I've got things in train for the luncheon on Thurs. We had a sunny afternoon here in Raymond today (Tues). The wind died down to nothing. No damage to our place and no power outage which can't be said for so many thousands here in the state of Maine.
I hope to see all of you on Thurs.

My tote is on the table with Yankee Swap, Xmas FQ, camera, tissue, cough drops, measuring tape and on the table beside it my water thermos so I can fill it the last minute. Cash in my tummy pack and a credit card, just in case.

Hope to see all of your there at Cracker Barrel on Thurs.

Just a quick reminder--I am allergic to scents of any kind, so if you would be so kind not to wear any I would really appreciate it!

See you all tomorrow! Smile

Congratulations! Nothing better than a new baby in the family to hug and spoil! Smile

If anyone of you arrive early, tell them you are with the Circle of Friends group and to sit you in the back (third) dining area.

Oh, we will certainly have another in spring! And summer...and fall...and....

The Old Country Buffet has a room that holds about 30-35, so if we want to plan one for March or April on a Saturday, with enough planning we can work it out. Let me know if that would work for those of you who would like to join in.

Mardens is just the best. We had to have at least six members to get our 10% discount and only had five, but I asked and they gave it to us. While it might not be much, it was very nice they could bend the rules for us. I will be sending them a nice thank you note from the group!
