Here is the plan…

Lunch at Cracker Barrel. They also serve breakfast all day if that suits your fancy! And what a great gift shop!

Bring along a new or gently used quilting item wrapped in fabric for a good old “Yankee” swap!

Also, bring along a Christmas FQ and we will have a drawing.

And don’t forget your show-and-tell items! We want to see your latest projects in person. I’ll be the one with the camera taking lots of pictures to share on the boards.

Then, it’s off to Marden’s for a shopping spree! Tons of designer cottons at $4.99/yd. or less! I was able to get our group a 10% off fabrics for the trip as long as we have ten or more purchasing.

So, let’s get together and have some fun!

My calendar is marked. I'm eager for the get-together, eating and shopping. It should be a fun day.

Drat -- will have to miss it! I'll be away until that Saturday.

All you ladies on the East coast don't have to wait until the 2013 retreat to visit--join us on November 1st!

I'm not a New Englander, but has anybody heard from Pinecone? I can't imagine that she'd pass this up if she knows about it.

I am a New Englander and I love Maine, but unfortunately I don't have enough vacation days left this year to attend. I will be there in spirit tho.

Awww, hi to you too FFG. I'll have to give a pass on it though. DH fell from the roof and had a concussion, fractured rib and hurt his wrist. He is still recovering and is mostly better but the rib still bothers. I'll stay home an make a cake for his BD on the 2nd.

When I was at Marden's in the spring, the discount was on a car load. A car load being 6 people. I commented that most cars now only have 5 seat belts unless it was a van. We had 3 cars there and no one was the wiser. Have fun!!

Calendar is clear for a Thursday get-together, so put me on the list. I'll talk to my sister to see if she wants to join us. she also quilts, but since she works nights at the hospital it may be a sleep day.

I wish I could come, but it's not possible this year. Never been to Maine, much less Mardens. It would be nice to meet all of you, but I'll have to settle for online accounts and pictures. Have a good time!

Well, bummer! DSis got her work schedule and she is working W, Th, Fr, 7p to 7a, so having lunch with us is not an option, but she did say if we do this again to let her know, she really would like to join us.

We're going to take a ride tomorrow and have 3 choices to see foliage -western CT, Cape Cod or ME coast. If we head your way, I want to get a new purse at the Outlets! I'll toot the horn hello!

Oh ha ha, Muggo we stayed at Anchorage Inn Very nice. Did some shopping, visited cousin in Kittery and had a nice time. Went towards and into Concord MA but traffic was HORRIFIC!
