Tied quilt and cat! Sign In/Join

I tied a quilt i'd put together years ago of old quilt blocks I bought at a quilt show. my step dtr is coming for a visit and i put the quilt on the folding twin bed. then put the cats (we have 3) quilt on top and of course one of the girls decided to lay up by the pillow on the quilt! I'd given up with their quilt up there and moved it where Mama cat had laid earlier. sigh!

Aren't they so funny...they know what they want best even when they know what we want too.

Cats have an uncanny knack of knowing exactly what they're NOT supposed to get into or onto...and so it's the first place they head! Roll Eyes

Pretty kitty -- I love black & whites!

Hey, she had to have a pillow just like you do! I do relate. Had my kitty for 18+ years.

Didn't you know that all quilts are the kitty's quilt? Wink

before getting the 3 cats we have now, we had an orange tabby for 17 years. he had his own summer quilt (the light one laying on the tied quilt in photo above) and for winter he had a light weight purple blanket he loved. He was so good, he usually would stay on "his" quilt.

Priceless. I understand totally since I have 2 cats. I love the expression on your kitty's face while he is looking at you with the camera. It's like "yes I know you wanted me to lie on my quilt...thats why I'm laying up here." lol

I used to say my quilts were 'kitty tested and approved'. No sense trying to argue with the kitty.

BTW, nice kitties.

How about cats and cameras? If I finish a project and want to photograph it the cat will always get in the picture. She may be on the other side of the house asleep but suddenly she's preening for the camera!

I imagined a bushy tail flipping in the way just as you tied the knot. Glad you didn't attach the cat to the quilt as unhappy cats tend to share their misery with others.

Glad this one was happy to pose with your tied quilt. Smile

That's so pretty-would make a nice greeting card. I was shocked to see that dogs do it too!
