Did anyone else look at the square plastic container & think, "Oh wow -- when she set up, she thought of EVERYTHING -- she brought cookies!" Yummy Then I realized they were CLOTHESPINS. Frown

So I'm hoping the cookies are in the green container with Elmo & Cookie Monster (?) on it! Big Grin

I brought cookies too- Cookie Cookie They are in the camper though my quilting friend would steal them otherwise.

As far as getting things together. I seem to work best in stages. Two summers ago I spent about a week or so cutting and cutting and putting together kits-then I can sew when I have a few minutes without having to decide what I need to do. I now have a stack of tops to layer and quilt. I hope to practice my quilting on my tabletop Queen quilter this summer. Then my next step will be binding all those. Then my stash will handle another big batch of cutting and preparing kits for my next vacation. Big Grin

You really got a lot accomplished on your vacation. This past weekend I took my "new" featherweight with me on our camping trip. This was the first time I have taken a sewing machine. I always take some kind of hand sewing. I spent a few hours on Saturday and Sunday piecing a double wedding ring quilt. I didn't get nearly as much accomplished as you did but it sure was nice sewing outside on the picnic table. I also got some astonishing looks from passers by. I don't think they had every seen someone sewing in a campground. I will definitely take my machine with me again.

Wow what a great quilt show. Congratulations on all the fine finishes. You definitely look like you had fun. Just think how happy the children will be to recieve any one of those quilts.
I do some sewing while on vacation at the resort, but mostly I crochet. It is portable and I can do it while sitting on the pier gathering sunshine and memories.

We have been here two weeks; headed home tomorrow. I have four more finished but need to pull my computer out to resize and load pictures-using DH's computer right now.

This is the most quilts that I have finished while on vacation. It has been fun but I think I need to see the my grandbabies soon-having withdrawal.

What a great selection of quilts. Even the first one you finished, I like it a lot. Having three DGDs that all had purple as their favorite color, I think of it as a neutral!!!!
Great idea, making the kits and having them ready to sew whenever. Do that with the pillowcases I make, get a bunch ready when the whole cutting board is free (it serves as the kitchen catch all) so they are ready when I feel like getting the serger out... Chris

Great pictures and wonderful work. Phew! What a marathon you've been on. I'll bet it was fun.
I never went camping without my machine and all the parafanalia! I know, my DH thought I was crazy. It was the best time ever!
Enjoy!!! You deserve it.

Thanks for the great quilt show! One is cuter than the next. I've set my sewing machine out on the deck to enjoy the weather, have never had "helpers" though
