Tipnut newletter had this idea this week. Since I found out there are a lot of knitters and crocheters, as well as quilts on this board, this might be a good idea for following the pattern for any of these crafts

Put the pattern in an index book.

I just saw that this morning and posted it on my Michigan Knit and Crochet FB page. I know one gal that writes the patterns out on note book paper, so it is easier to follow and keep track of where she is at. (she does very elaborate designs in knit and crochet)
I think this one on tip nut would work great for me! I just bought myself a row counter..to help also.

Oh Wow! Thanks for that link! I do a lot of thread crochet, and have to stop for life, lol, this will work great for me.

That's a good tip, one I've actually used on road trips Smile Before the days of GPS and not being a member of AAA for tripkits, I would work out my route, write each step on an index card and flip then as I did each turn...easy to read at a glance when driving alone. For crochet/knit, I usually make copies of the pattern, and cross each row off as I finish.
