We have discussed this problem in a computer club I belong to. This is what we have been advised to do.
Open any PDF document you have on your computer.
Click "edit". On next screen choose "preferences" at bottom of list.
On the top line of next screen is a box labeled "enable Java Script". There will be a Check mark in the box. Click on mark and it will be removed. You want the box to be blank.
You only have to do this on one document and it will be changed for all others.

Thanks Ladies very much.
I have tons of PDF on my computer.
Patterns mostly.
Took care of all of them.

I want to be the kind of woman that when my feet hit the floor each morning the devil says: "Oh NO! She's UP!"

If the enable Java Script box is not on your screen look to the left for a list. Find Java Script and click on that, then you should have the "enable Java Script" on the top line.

When javascript is on, it allows it to put unwanted files on your computer.
When I had it enabled, 3 trojan files were put on my computer and the computer was not running right.
Our computer club says to always update Adobe reader and Adobe flash player because the updates usually contain security updates.
