We raised $3,651 for our house in Springfield, Missouri ... and I will be presenting them with the new check later this week when we deliver these tabs! That was an amazing total raised for the Springfield House!! Thank you Lindsay for all of your time and efforts in making the fundraiser a huge success!!

I'm absolutely delighted to win ladybuggsie's beautiful poinsettia quilt. It caught my eye whenever I looked at the quilts posted on the blog. It will be the center of my Christmas decorating.

Yea for all of the winners! I was wanting to blab, KC, on that other thread, but honestly couldn't remember what quilt you had won and didn't want to get into trouble.

It was so much fun to be in the audience when the winners were drawn. We were all in shock over Quiltaholic's win of bluesnail's quilt and tisme's win of the purple quilt. What a hoot!

When Lindsay told me I won Lois's quilt and then said I had won a different quilt, I thought she was pulling my leg... I was so happy to know I had actually won it! Someone high up above was looking out for me.

WOW! I never win anything, I was just glad I was able to donate to a good cause. Lindsay let me know how much the shipping cost and I will send a check directly.

I'm on the boards at home because the phone is to much of a pain to post and the house internet is acting up.

I cant wait to have a yellow quilt around the house. Thanks WarmBuns!

Dj soak it first. I evidently did not wash it and the pencil marks are still on it. Sorry!!!!

I never win anything either so I was shocked when my name was called.

Is this hgoing to be continued next year? I surely hope so because it is such a good cause.

I couldn't believe that 2 tickets I bought for grandaughters won. They will both love them, I know. The quilts were beautiful on the net, but to see them in person was amazing. So many hours and so much attention to detail. Sue wants to know where the pattern for cookies and milk can be found. She wants mine, even offered to buy it from me today, told her it would cost too much and it wasn't for sale. LOL. Pat

There's another story about Bluesnail's pretty orange quilt that Quiltaholic really won. When SS's Precious drew the winning ticket...we all know how much SS likes (ha-ha) orange...well Precious calls out, "Saved Sinnr!" You could've knocked Lindsay over with a chicken tail feather! LOL Precious just grinned that cute not-so-innocent smile.

I never win anything, either! I was so surprised and delighted to hear my name called! I won a beautiful quilt made by Quiltaholic. The colors are beautiful and so luxurious looking....red, gold, and black.

When Mother (craftylady1924) and I returned to our condo, I could tell that she loved the quilt. I knew Quiltaholic wouldn't mind, (might even be happier), so I gave the quilt to Mother. When we returned to her home, we spread the quilt out in her room, and it looked wonderful! So "Q", it's kinda like you're giving her a hug every night! Just remember, she's MY Mother!!!

She's really looking forward to your visiting her!!

Hey, SS, did you get any pattern suggestions to use up all those orange fq's?

Patty, Cookies & Milk is actually a pattern called "Circle of Life" that I found in Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting magazine, March/April 2006 issue.
