I was looking at some things on ebay and came across this quilt. It struck me that it is a combination of Jean (for the red, black and white) and me (for the you yos) Smile. Now, Jean wouldn't have any part of such handwork, but I think that she'll like the look of this yo yo quilt.

I have no desire to make a red, white and black quilt or yo-yo quilt. But boy is that one beautiful! Thanks for the post Lisa.

Ha! I figured that you would like the geometric look and of course, the colors Big Grin.

I have thousands of yo yos that I have made, but not a lot of red, black and white. Maybe I'll have to pull out the yo yo makers again, they have been dormant for a while . . .

I figured you two had had a hand in something together. As soon as I saw the photo, I knew why jayardi was mentioned. I did not know Lisa was a yoyo affectionado. Gorgeous quilt.

I have been doing some thinking, Jill, will send you a PM to discuss some ideas Cool.

Well, I had a thing for yo yos after experimenting with the Clover yo yo makers and made Yo Yo Crazy for the 4th Annual Scraps to Treasures Challenge in 2009. I have since made oodles of other yo yos just for fun in a variety of sizes. Not sure of my plans for all of them, but making them kept me busy and out of trouble for a while Smile.

Ha! Out of trouble for a while. Right!

Love that quilt — way cool, but not in my future. After D*** Jane, I'm not really into red, black, and white any time soon.

Neat quilt, even tho I don't do yoyos.

My first quilt was a black & white with red. Still some hand quilting that needs to be done on it, but when I unearth it again, I am thinking of taking the binding off and using the 4 patches as a center madelion, and do my own Round Robbin to finish it... chris
