...I've been busy these past three weeks stitching on some baby things for my niece. She has three little boys...and is now expecting a GIRL! Yea!

Thought y'all might want a small break from quilting to view some needlework! This little bishop dress is very sheer and has an under slip.

Here is a close up of the lace trim. I've added some hand-sewn bullion rose buds.

I've been watching your blog with these. That dress is just adorable. So girly and sweet. Just beautiful. Lucky little girl - until she gets old enough to date, that is. With 3 older brothers, it's gonna be tough!

The little dress is just beautiful and the roses are the perfect addition. The bib is just too pretty to use. What fun to have a little girl, I'll have to check out your blog for more pictures. Hope she lives close enough for Auntie to cuddle her.

It is so pretty. Is it a christening dress? Love to see pictures.

Thanks for all the nice comments. It has been a while since I have sewn baby things...but will be doing more.

The dress is not a christening dress...but my niece now wants one. So, I'm ordered patterns from Sew Beautiful and will have to give an attempt at least.

Appreciate all the encouragement.

Now, the other niece wants "at least" a baby quilt...so I think I'm in for tons more work.

Hugs!
