The traveling box is on its way so here is the official thread for everyone to post on concerning the Traveling Box.

Here is the link to the original sign up thread.

http://boards.hgtv.com/eve/for...4011632/m/7073953957

As a reminder:
This round is for REGULAR quilting items only. No crazy quilting items. My thoughts are that everyone should conceivably be able to use everything in the box. Since the box already has crazy quilting items in it, those items will be in the starting box, but no more are to be added. I may have taken a little leeway in some of the items I included but remember I put in 15 items...

Once the box arrives please post on the message board in the “Traveling Box” thread that you have received the box. Include what you have taken out of the box and who it is from OR if it takes a bit to decide what you want, the next post should include what you take with a picture, if possible. Please post a picture even if you need to add it at a later time as they make everything more interesting. Do not include in your post what is left in the box. All items should be in a zip lock type bag, each bag is one item no matter how many things are in that bag. Replace the same number of plastic bags you take with a plastic bag that includes your name on it or your name inside the bag. Mail the box to the next person. Feel free to use any mailing way you like but be sure to get delivery confirmation. Due to weight constrictions, I usually mail parcel post. Please PM me the delivery confirmation number when you have mailed the box.

This goes on until each person on the list gets the box. I will be the last person to get the box with the remaining items.

The items should be quilting related or homemade items that you yourself would like to get. Please don’t put torn, damage/used or dollar store items in or food. As you are choosing what to put in ask yourself if it’s something you would like to pick from.

Please mail the box as quickly as you can as everyone else is anxiously waiting for their turn. I will allow 1 week, but positively no longer. Everyone’s mailing information is in the box that goes with it each time it's mailed. Please cross your name off the list & send that list with the box you will mail out.

I will list of all names on this thread and update them when they are mailed to you, received and then when you mail out.

Last but not least if something in your personal life changes and you need to drop out or if you have a time line as the box goes on & you haven’t received it please PM me and we will work around it. If you move, please include us in your notifications.

I'm looking forward to this new adventure, so welcome abroad this journey of the "Traveling Box" Chris

HMM I see a name on the list that lives WAY north....I'm gonna guess it went from the farthest SOUTH to the farthest NORTH. That was supposed to be in RED but neither that NOR the emoticons are working anymore.

The Travelling Box has landed and taken off again. It wanted to experience the wilds of Canada. Before it could get too comfortable I sent it on its way so it could share its awesome treasures.
I will post a picture in a bit my camera is acting up.

Gwyn, so glad it made it to you! Really was beginning to worry. Sent it Priority, but not sure if it went that way to Miami or all the way to the US border? Knew it had made it thru customs on this end, but not how long it would be in customs at your end. Not long I hoped.

Now everyone understands why the first stop took so long. I wanted to take care of the customs issues so that nobody else would need to. From now on, the time between everyone will be a lot shorter... Chris

Here are my pretties...

3 beautiful Asian prints from IB1RU12 - I think 1/2, 1/2, and 1 1/2 yds.

Super blue with flowing white lines from cksvett - abou 2 yds.

Thread selection of wonderful colors from cksvett.

I love them all and I still left lots of pretties in the box. I will add my things and let you know when it is in the mail.
