.....yes it was ... when the family picked me up grandson said there was another box for me .. anotehr? HOW BIG? I dont' know.. Well is it kinda heavy ...i don't know .. and then DNSIL speaks up and says 'my bowling balls are kinda heavy .. not that much" .. so I was pretty sure TTB had made it to Chino Hills ... Now - how does one choose what to take out? so many wonderful things in there ... I have not had a good look - it's dinner time - I will be back a little later with a picture - I need to read those rules again !!!

Yea! I should have driven the box over to you!

I don't think any names have been crossed off of the list...if that was supposed to be done could you bring it up to date? Sorry!

If the names aren't crossed off the list would you please cross off Ib1RU12, KG in CA and yourself? Thanks!

You can take as many items as you want, just replace 1 item for each item you take. There should be 20 so take 20 if you want!!!!

Everyone, please keep in mind that this box is larger than the previous boxes so do not feel like you need to send it Priority. Parcel Post is fine. You can get delivery confirmation on that also.

Am glad the box is making speedy travels and everyone is finding items they can use... Chris

..... hahahhaa ... I put the list aside to check off names - and then forgot to put it in the box, cut the box back open to put the list back in, and forgot to cross off the names! However, I did take some nice things out, and put some nice things back in .. and it's ready to go - I will try to get it out tonight, otherwise it will be morning.
Gosh KG, I'd have met you half way and bought you coffee - we could still do that one day Smile
... making this pic smaller has caused some ditortion - upper left is charms and a wonderful pumpkin print fabric and titanium thread clippers, upper right is 2 more packs of charms - really neutral which I needed, and thread, bottom left if gloves for Free Motin quilting - and as you all know I am recently a new devotee of that thanks to Leah Day and her alterd darning foot - and bottom right is a rotary cutter and blade .. mine are pretty old and it's nice to have an extra to leave home .. thanks to all of you.

,,,,,travelling box is actually travelling ... however it may take a week to arrive - according to the post office, outer siberia is not on the regular route.. and for only $65.00 I could get a tracking number... I passed on that and got a confirm delivery notification .. good grief.. you are probably wondering what I put in that box .. so am I !!! LOL

City/Sandie, I hope you were kidding about Outer Siberia? The box isn't going that far!!!!

Parcel post which is the slowest way, should have been at the next location is less than a week. All the locations from now on should be less than a week using parcel post, except possibly one... Chris

...well yes I was kidding but I thought that's where the PO guy thought it was going. I don't know why it would take that long, are they trying to use more mules and fewer horses?

It could take that long if it goes the slower route which costs less than a priority rate that gets there in 2-3 days but costs more - they make it hard to use the PO with such huge differences in days and prices BUT that box is worth waiting for no matter how long it takes!!

By the way did you mail it to Illinois? LOL Just kidding :O

.. the box is headed to outer siberia - PO said it's on a direct route - I think it's going mule train - but how direct can a mule train be? I hope it's not down and then up again thru the Grand Canyon.
Fear not .. it will be worth the wait .. I think, so far anyway, I have had the most fun with this box ...

Well, that ole mule must have been running around my house this am while I was out shopping! He must have dropped that box a few times cuz it looked like it had been thru a lot, But everything is safe and sound. And I must say everything in the box is top notch. I have already picked 4 bags and am debating on a couple more. So be patient, I promise to have it mailed by Friday.
The list that is in the box doesn't have any names crossed off. Do you want me to cross off any more names besides mine?

Have fun Smile ... and I"m glad the mules were fed ...

So glad the box arrived and you have found some things you can use this time!
If you feel the box needs replacing and you can find a box, please do that. It has put on a lot of miles from Tampa to Miami, Miami to Canada thru a couple of stops in California and onto Arizona.
Yes, please cross off all those the box has been to. You will find the list in the first post of this thread.
Enjoy... Chris

To everyone,

if the box is getting beat up, please feel free to replace it.

If I have routed the next person close to you and you want to hand deliver the box to that person, I have no problem with that as long as it is done within the week allowed to get the box on it's way.

Please feel free to mail the most inexpensive way as the box should arrive at the next place in about a week with the way I have routed things. Delivery confirmation can be added to any item, I actually had it on one of my fat quarter envelopes for the birthday FQ exchange!

If you have any questions, feel free to PM me... Chris

Am going to get a new box before I send it on its way again. Think i will use a horse this time.

Thank you Auntie Reba for being a fuel stop for the critters .... it's been hot, bet you gave them some nice cool water too .... I was just thinking, maybe they are only traveling at night, by moonlight - when it's cooler.
Anyone seen any lounging mules in their area?
