That is correct. Each "set" is six hexies of the same fabric. You can send in up to 10 sets of the same fabric. It's more fun to cut lots of different prints as you will find it more fun to make them that way!  The minimum is 35 sets and the maximum is 100 sets. We package them nine sets per baggie. Yes, but for each theme you don't have to send in 35 sets made of 35 different fabrics. You can send in up to ten sets of one fabric, ten sets of another print, etc. to make up the total of 35 sets.This message has been edited. Last edited by: KC1930, | |||

As the first swap is complete, a few modifications to the guidelines would make it easier for me to swap out. I'll be emailing you *tomorrow* the updated version of the swap guidelines. PLEASE reply to me email, PM or post here if you can open up the attachment and have read the guidelines. I need ALL swappers to reply to be *officially* signed up for the second swap. If I don't hear from you in three days, I will send you another email message. If you do not get the email or cannot open the attachment, please let me know asap. So there is a chance that the 60+ sets I have already made for this 2nd swap (30's) that I WAS officially signed up for several weeks ago may be incorrect?? Lindy in NC | |||

I've been making these 30's hexies by the bunch and decided to unpack those already made...  | |||
|

..and seperate them by color until I am done making my sets so I can pack them with each bag having a nice variety of color.  | |||

This is a sign I are having too much fun: Finish the first group of fabrics, go buy more. Trace and cut pattern, separate and pair with hexies. Finally, count progress. And realize I am going to have way more than 100 if I do all I have prepped. This fun is addictive! | |||

Mailed my 2nd combo today. With those 30's repros all done and mailed, I have completed the 2nd hexie swap. Miss you already... Found an awesome hexie crazy quilt idea on Pinterest so my first set of received hexies have a destiny... | |||

Today I had to take my car in for a recall fix and wait around for it. Guess what I took with me - all nicely tucked into a plastic container with a lid. | |||

Got the hexagons for my 36 basic sets done and still going. You're right, they are addictive. It gets easier and easier, doesn't it. I am lovvvvvvvvvving 30's style. | |||

Me too! I'm getting about 1-15 sets per day done during my calls at work. I have to start sewing some of these together as many co-workers are curious to see what these little hexies will turn out to look like. | |||

I had the same question when I started the first hexie swap. So I started lurking on Pinterest. And wow are there lots of inspirational projects. My favorite ones are the tote bags/purses. I love the hexie "ivy chain" running up the side of the bag. And we're not the only ones working with hexies. At a recent quilt show, there were 5 projects using hexies. | |||
