Well... You all are in for a treat this morning!!

7 ladies finished the challenge and sent in some remarkable works of art to make you smile! These pieces are fantastic!! I am having a hard time choosing my favorite and you will too!

There will be 3 prizes awarded and all of you get to pick the Forum Choice!

Send me an email with the number of your favorite piece to:

alliesgrandma (at) earthlink (dot) net

Replace the (at) with the @ symbol and the (dot) with a . and make sure there are no spaces in the email address.

You only get one vote... Put your HGTV forum name in the email with your vote. If you do not, that vote will be deleted and uncounted.

I have judges who will be choosing the other 2 placement winners... I will be emailing over all of the photos to them today.

Winners will be announced next Thursday morning!! April 26th!!

There is no way!!! I can't choose just ONE!! Several made me laugh out loud. My dog thinks I am crazy. What amazing talent and creativity, not to mention imagination. How long do we have to decide on our favorite again? Just fantastic! I see 7 winners here!

It looks like the Mt Rushmore quilt has a 2nd layer to it...Maybe the flowers are under the top???

Your vote is yours... you can either vote for your favorite quilt or for the one you think best defines the challenge...

There will be 3 winners.

(1) Forum Choice - sent to me via e-mail
(2) Judges Choice
(3) Best Interpretation of Theme - Judges

I will be asking Cathy Wiggins and Susan Brubaker Knapp to help me with the judging for #2 and #3 place winners.

Wonderful work and unbelievable talent in all 7! This is a hard one to choose as others have said. All put so much work into their creation with amazing results!

You all used whatever you wanted? Was there a size that you were supposed to make it? Wish I had read all the directions when they came out. Then I might have a better idea on how to vote. Gotta call Sue and make sure she sees this and votes.
All the projects are unique in their own way. Very creative and great sewing too. Loved them all. Pat

It was very hard to decide but I finally did... don't know if I voted for yours jayardi?? But did cast a vote. Such talent in all the pieces!

I guess you'll be posting very early Thursday before you hit the road, so I need to make my email to you before midnight Wednesday. All so unique so very hard for me to vote.

They all look like winners to me. Such a display of creativity, imagination & talent. Well done to all who stepped up to the challenge.

Ladies.. I am running around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to get things finished before I go to the Alabama retreat and I am running out of time to get everything finished.

I want to run the voting for one more week on these quilts to loosen my schedule up a bit for the next 36 hours.

Please keep this updated for me while I am away.

Just a little more patience but time for more to vote.
