I had seen a picture of a stuffed toy owl online and, in my mind, I thought if it had a strap it would make a cute funny bag.

When my quilt group decided on making bags for our Yankee Swap Christmas exchange I thought "here is my chance"!

It was hard to decide whether to add the legs or leave them off.

Out meeting is Wednesday. I hope it's cute enough to get stolen once or twice.

Thanks ladies.
We had our gift swap today. It was fun. My owl bag got stolen once and that lady seemed so tickled to have it for her grandaughter...we all wanted her to be able to keep it.

It did get some laughs and exclamations as it was opened. There were so many nice bags though - a lot of talent.
