Anyone have this beginners guide? Saw it in Nancy's notions and thinking about getting it as it says uses regular and zig zag to make flowers and leaves. thoughts?

No - I think I saw the ad for that book but thought it was for the embroidery machine - duh!, teach me not to actually read about it Smile Now I'll have to go back and take a second look. How cool would it be to do something like that with regular sewing machine stitching. Big Grin

Not sure which book you are referring to. I took a class called thread painting by Nancy Prince and she uses a regular machine with zigzag stitch. It was very interesting and fun. She has several books out. I really enjoyed this technique. It takes a little getting used to, but the possibilities are endless.
