Thank you all It should be a fairly quiet day - cold and snowy DH gave me some gift cards in addition to a special binding foot from Sewing with Nancy site. (I mark the items I like in the catalog when it comes in with stickies
Maggie - my friend is working on the last of the yarns now. So many children have benefitted from that yarn - in many states as well. The school where DGD's go to still has several hats visible at recess time that came from the the beginning of this project. Youngest DGD is still there for another year or so - time has flown by.

Thank you - all of you. It's been a tough year but having such a great group in my corner throughout has made it so much better.
DH took me out for dinner - got back just a little while ago...it had been a while since we did that - other than chain places or fast food - I'd almost forgotten how much I liked some of the other restaurants in this city. Now I am STUFFED!!

Happy Birthday, Linda---I missed the "real" day, but my wishes for a wonderful year for you are still real and sincere !! P S--thank you for the sweet note--it meant alot to me !!!
DS and family just left - youngest DGD designed and made a fabric gift card holder - I was very proud of her. She did a really good job for the "prototype" - I have a feeling there will be several more for the holidays the end of the year.
This has been a very good birthday Thank you so much for your part in all of it.
