Nice to revisit these quilts especially since I need to make two more. I had a great nephew born a week ago and we have a couple at church that is having a girl in January.

Today I'm planning to start a boy's quilt and had my mind made up on Warm Wishes. Now I'm doddering - drat!!

Beautiful quilts ladies. I'm sure there have been hundreds of happy mamas and warm babies as a result of quilts made by the members of this board.

I did post this on the Sew and Tell thread, but thought I would put it here, too. The couple is expecting a girl and they are decorating the nursery in pinks and grays.

those quilts are beautiful. Makes mine look pale. I usually make raggy quilts with flannel. They are quick. Here's one I made for a baby due this week

here are 2 made from pre-quilted fabric. This is a re-purposed project. I made curtains for my son's apt. When he moved he brought the curtains home and I cut them to make baby quilts

I am touched that it has been around so long. What a group we have that has kept this thread going on so long.

I made this quilt for my great niece from a panel. To "upscale" it a bit, I embellished it with hand-embroidered chain stitch (around leaves, clouds, giraffe spots, etc). Then I added the border.

This is a pic of the quilt with my niece and her husband.
