| I did a mystery (Planet Patchwork) in pinks and browns a couple of years ago--- will try to take a photo later. Not quilted yet, but I liked how it turned out despite being a mystery |

| I've made three pink and brown quilts. Loved them all. I don't think there's a wrong way to make one. One was a baby quilt with appliquéd hearts, alternated pink heart on brown and brown heart on pink using scraps. I also make a sampler which was fun because I tried lots of patterns and used a beautiful border if large pink roses on brown. The other was a Sunbonnet Sue and I love the old fashioned fabrics for her clothes. I don't think there could be an ugly pink and brown quilt if you love the fabrics. |

| I've only made one pink and brown it was a baby quilt for my great niece, made from a moda layer cake and charm pack, the pattern was froma book that was gifted tome from a BSS the name of the book was "Loose Change" T he quilt went together really fast, the tricky part for me was the scalloped bonding, it was my frst.

| I did a brown/pink string quilt one time... |
| | |

| Wow! I love both quilts but the string quilt is stunning! I just joined a scrap quilt group and yesterday worked on crumb quilts. I had lots of bits of 30's so I'm using those now. I really want to learn how to do strings. It's amazing that such a gorgeous quilt comes from strips. TFS |
