Neat apron Marion, neat covering that area with that large pocket & some appliqued fabric.

I made my first 2 baby burp cloths. I have had that green flannel since around 2004, the ABC flannel was bought about 5 or 6 years ago. The yellow & blue I have had for years too, just waiting to be used.

That floral piece I have had for about 3 years, I keep using small sections of it. I used that large square to practice using my quilting foot to quilt some grids. It is not finished yet, I am going to use it to make something else. Shhh it's a secret.

I actually got in some sewing this week Smile I made this for the Ozark Piecemaker's Quilt Show silent auction ... I hope it sells Roll Eyes

It was fun and fast ... and THANKS JAYARDI for the confidence in your free-motion class last retreat ... I did the quilting on this all myself, and I wasn't even scared Big Grin

Every bit of it was from stash Big Grin

I'd like to name this one "Lori's girls" ... but alas, I named it something else Roll Eyes

Here's another completed flannel quilt that started out as a panel (all the little square flannel and chennille patches) that I added a border to and quilted during our great heat wave!

Just finished quilting and binding this Disappearing 9 Patch stashbuster I made earlier. It is a full size bed quilt and I quilted it on my regular machine.

So nice to think that there will be another quilt to put on one of the beds when (not "if")the cold weather comes!

What cute aprons.

Pat, how do you do it all?? You turn out quilts by the dozen and you quilt bed sized quilts on your regular sewing machine. Guess I'm just a clutz/

Spent the day working with 9 YO DGD on a fabric storage box with pockets and zippers. My job was to "instruct", cut and keep us on track with the directions (not necessarily in that order) She put in two zippers - good job too Smile We didn't get it done before she had to leave but will finish the next time she is here. I donated two zippers - does that count for "stashbusting" Smile

FloridaFarmGirl- you're so kind! Two words explain how I can quilt a large quilt on my regular machine- 505 spray!!! It's amazing!!! Using it, I don't pin or baste my quilt "sandwich" at all before or during my quilting and it stays in place without bunching!!

It feels good actually getting some quilts completely finished instead of packed away as UFOs!!

I love those RWB pillowcases & another cute denim apron. Those BOM blocks look great, that will make a wonderful quilt, love those fabrics too.

Kjstrouble, cute oven door dresses. Did you design that pattern yourself? I like the collar finishing. I was recently given an ice cream tub full of buttons. Wink

I made more burp cloths. I now have 8 made. need to make a few more girly ones. All the backs of my burp cloths were done in the ABC flannel that I bought few years ago when the fabric store was closing. I bought it to use as a quilt back but later discovered that it had several noticable "flaws" in it. Funny how these flaws are not noticable BEFORE we buy it. Anyway, by using it for the burp cloths I could cut around those spots & get full use of the good areas.

These cloths look so cute tied up into a bundle, perfect to put with a shower gift.

...Very cute burp cloths - and those things come in so handy for more than just 'burps' ... I had some that fit right inside a night diaper when my son was around a year old ... it's a great gift.
And great use of that STASH of flannel!

Here's the only picture of my July efforts. I am teaching a sewing class for 3 women and 4 girls each week. The first week they made pillow cases, the 2nd week they made bags like these and this week they are making pj bottoms - but those don't count because we had a field trip to Joann Fabrics and they bought their own w/ my 20% coupon.

couldn't get paint to work. will try this other site I found. I didn't realize I had one block turned wrong until it was already patially quilted. I didn't have time to rip it apart so I finished it off and my daughter loves it anyway. It really shows up in the picture. She also got two other baby quilts that I finished ( that don't have mistakes, lol)
