I found these on Ebay with about 12 minutes left on the bid of one and 14 minutes on the other... Both were around 125.00 at the time.. I waited until the last 15 seconds to bid on the first one and won it for 137.00. The second one's bid was run up over the next 2 minutes but I still only paid 202.00 for it.

Awesome, love all the stitching details. They look like they are still in pretty good shape.

They are in truly impeccable shape to be well over 100 years old.

You can feel the fragility in the fabrics because of their age...

I bet the makers are looking down from hea*ven with a big smile that you have their treasured heirlooms. Now they have a new mother who will treat them with love and respect!

if quilts could talk. can u imagine all these ladies talking and sewing while piecing and making this quilt. the stories these quilts could tell

These quilts are actually talking to me.. by all of the embroidery that was put on them.. so many names... so many dates..
