I had never heard of dorset buttons before--they are cool!

Got a supply item that I may use on mine--still toying with which option to pick. Maybe I'll flip a coin so that I can just get started.

I have my first set done for about two weeks now. I plan on at least one more set maybe two. Is anyone else doing more than one set? I was wondering if I will get some of my own back. Hope not. Jackie

Hey Jackie (r u my guild Jackie?), noone will receive any of their own back unless I just screw up, lol. (And of course, as long as they're acceptable swapage: well-constructed, created by you, true to the intent of the swap, etc.) In my own swaps I always make several different styles so to better accomodate the folks that send in multiples.
Be aware tho', that if most people send in single sets you will get some duplicates back. I'll do my best to make it a mixed lot tho'. Best thing about sending multiple sets is you're guaranteed at least one from everybody.

I hope that was what you wanted to hear Smile

Thank you, I think I understand. Thank you for being the leader of this swap! No, I don't think I am the Jackie from your guild. Unless you are in NW PA. Are you?

I have made more of the Dorsett buttons, but added french knots to the center....it resembles a bouquet then.
I am frantically trying to make my bits work for the mail date tomorrow. I know, last minute...that's what I do!

You are going to have so much fun looking through all of the packages Big Grin. I took some pictures of mine, but should have picked a different background to put them on, or taken them outside for natural light. I have a feeling that my two little ones are going to be as excited as me when my package of charms arrives in the mail.

Have fun waiting by the mailbox!

I'll post pics as soon as everyone gets theirs, that way it's still a surprise.

DH got home early and said, 'I need to go to the PO...' so the charms are in the government's hands now, lol.

I was in the pool Thursday preping to teach water aerobics at the community college.

Alex - tell us more about the art show! I bet it was a blast!

I don't know when I'll do another swap, feel free to host one if you'd like. Things are getting crazy here: lifeguarding on base & water aerobics starting at CC, DH looking for a new job, working on the old house and trying to sell this one. I'm trying to stay out of any new projects till after school starts again, lol. I actually sat on my horse for about 45 seconds last week, first time in about 6 months . Fortunately, he doesn't mind grazing and snoozing his life away, lol.

My package arrived today and my kids and I had a fun time taking a quick look through the charms before dance class Smile.

We have a lot going on over the next month, but I would definitely participate in another swap. Wouldn't even mind hosting, but would need to wait until after June.

Thank you to everyone!
