If you go to JoAnn's this weekend...
Pack plenty of patience. It's the last weekend before Halloween. I'm just sayin'!

If I had a dollar for every piece of costume fabric & measurement advice I gave out tonight, JoAnn's would have owed me instead of the other way around. Roll Eyes

And if anyone can beat having to wait while 60 yards of tulle was measured & cut for another customer, I'd like to know about it! Eek

Oh thank you! I need to change the needles on both of my machines. I have needles, but was going to get more so I have them when I go to change them next....

But after reading this post, I think I will just add a BIG note to my whiteboard in the sewing room and go another day.

Thanks again, Deb

Just got back from JoAnns. Couldn't resist buying with my 30% off entire purchase coupon. One person was at the cutting table. No one ahead or behind me in line. My lucky night!

They had two people cutting & were working on customer 51 when I pulled the 62 slip. The tulle person was somewhere between there. Frown

They had one person at the check-out, until it was my turn & they finally got another one to come up. But by then, I'll bet there were at least a dozen people in line behind me.

And I thought that going during dinnertime would mean most people would be home, eating. Wrong!

I wouldn't have gone, but I needed something for someone going to chemo next week. Frown

I stopped at one last Saturday with dd, we turned around and left after seeing the cutting table lines! SCARY...

There weren't any lines at the cutting table, but the check out was another story yesterday!! One cashier, a line of six people, and of course, everyone is questioning whether they got the sale price. Always check your fabric slip before you get in line! Last time I was charged for 7 yards of fabric when I only had one.

It seems the "hot" costume this year is going as one of those tulle bath sponges!!! I work there---and have had to cut 25 to 30 yards of tulle for at LEAST a dozen customers!! NOT FUN!

Lucky night indeed. I didn't think about it being so close to Halloween. Wed afternoon I meandered in to buy a blue jeans needle but was out in 15 minutes. Whew!
