So I went to a Yard Sale today with "material from a non-sm*oker" was how it was advertised. I asked if from a quilt store and they said, some from each although I think much of it may be from Walmart. She insisted I take it all as I was picking out my favorites. The Quilt Guild locally is going to benefit from what I don't want. They make quilts for Habitat for Humanity and we have a Ways & Means table which I can donate to. Here we go: the pile in the back is holiday and novelty.

Then there's these two packages with Foundation stencils or combo to make a complete quilt by Fiskars.

And the last...I thought you would enjoy seeing; I always love when someone posts their FINDS and also b.t.w. this was 1/2 hour drive...but RI is a small state after all. I forgot to post: I paid $22.00 for it all and two brand new dish towels also.

Lucky you! That is a beautiful pile of fabric. I agree some may be Walmrt or Joann (as I have some of those prints) but sometimes the quality is nice enough. I think you hit the jackpot!

Wow -- Now THAT is my favorite kind of rainbow! Cool

All I ever seem to find at yard sales are sticky old Tupperware pieces...unwanted Thigh Masters...used Salad Shooters...

My kind of Seller...way to shop Aunt Reba.

I was through a town that was having city wide yard sales Fri. & Saturday and could not stop at one sale..I was sooo bummed. It was awful having to pass them several times a day as I tended my disabled brother & sisters needs downstate and attended my great nephews wedding.

Nice find! I'm green....
Love the pink & blue floral on black!!!
I think a 10 min. block with the center blocks with 9 (or more) patch b/c they would be on point in the center I like the idea anyway....

If you need any ideas/patterns for scrappy quilts, I've got dozens downloaded if you want!

If you click on my flickr link below my name , you can see some of the scrap quilts that I've done and have patterns for.

Auntie Reba, You made an excellent deal. I'm sure your quilt guild will be excited to see what you bring! My son and DIL went to our block wide rummage this weekend and didn't find anything worth getting and Noo fabric at all, I told them to look for me. TFS You know we all like to see what others get.

WOW< great find. Love all the bright colors. Bet it was just like Christmas when you finally got to go thru everything?
What about a pinwheel quilt with white as the other half of the pinwheel or just cut logs and make log cabin blocks or strips and make your own jelly roll for the 1000 quilt or whatever they call the ones where you sew them end to end... Chris
