scroll down to see her quilt of doll dresses. it is so sweet. what an undertaking. if u go to the next page, you can actually see each dress in detail. look at the second row, second one; the doll is a quilter; she has scissors and fabric in her pocket. you can see it more detail on succeeding pages.

Dang! Not only did I read the blog, I looked up the fabric, then went to Quiltshops.com to find someone who sold it, bought it from the first store that came up (desperatequilters.com)! Sheesh. I could only feel better if I had some chocolate and a longarm.

Oh, holee, that is a cute one too! What's a girl to do, I really can't take on any more new projects, but I will save the links for future inspiration. Just for fun, which way does everyone hang their clothes? Seeing the hangers go to the right seems backwards to me, but I'm a lefty Big Grin.

I didn't notice that before. They are backwards for me too and I'm a righty. The father sewed on the hangers..might be a man thing.

But wouldn't that quilt be cute hanging over the bed in a little girls room.

Both of the quilts are way too cute, if I had a litle girl, I reckon i'd never quit playing...LOL

and Yea, I'm a righty also and the hangers are backwards, my DH also hangs them in the closet backwards to what I do to, I put the opening of the round hook part facing the back of the wardrobe and he has it facing out, but if that;s his biggest downfall, I can live with it...lol

Those quilts are just too cute. The comments on the coat hangers got me to thinking. I'm right handed and have always hung my clothes like those pictured in the quilt. DH is left handed (only for writing though) and hangs his clothes facing the opposite direction, but the hangers are facing the same as mine. I thought that was a man thing, but evidently not.

Those are SOOOOOOOOO cute!!!!! I love, love, love that one with the doll dresses & the doll! My DD would love that! Some people are just SO creative!

Thanks Mandylifeboats and holee for sharing those with us. By the time I'd get around to making something like that, my dd will probably be in college (she's 5 yrs old now, LOL).

I love this quilt. I called quilt soup and they directed me to Liberty Stars website with Rene'e Plains the quilt designer. She has patterns for the dress up doll quilt pattern.
