Anyone tried this pattern? I am so afraid I am going to cut the fabric wrong. I also have to purchase the 60 degree ruler, any ideas where I can purchase one online? Michele

I've made quite a few of them. Just think it out before you cut. You can use the litle triangles that will be left to make a matching candle mat. Karen Montgomery (pattern maker) is at The Quilt Company, Allison Park (Pittsburgh), PA. You can get the ruler at her website. Just search for Quilt Company. Have fun with this. They are very impressive when done.

Have the pattern, have the ruler, and have some fabric. Needless to say---haven't made them yet.

I have a friend who made one, but she wasn't happy with it due to her fabric choice.

At shops have seen lots of them made up. Should get to mine, especially the fall fabric one.

Good luck and show us your project when finished.

I've looked at these for a long time, just finally purchased the pattern and two fabrics. One with sunflowers and one with flags.

I think I got my 60 degree ruler at JoAnn's, maybe it's Fon's and Porter but not sure.

Someday I'll give this a try. Just thinking about it this morning I think I'll try placemats with the sunflowers too.

Keep calm and carry on
