Elsie was ever so clever. She totally personalized mine with a monogram but also with fabric that highlights my life. The cutest pair of pigs on a motorcycle (DH & I retired early to play, play, play!) The San Antonio represents the city we like most to visit (DD lives there and DS's family spent 10 years there. DD, DS, and grandson got married there.) I live in Texas and love shopping all across this great state. My son, my grandson and his wife are career USAF. On the back is Texas Tech fabric. It's the alma mater for our family. Elsie, you're a genius! So clever to search out my past posts and make such a wonderful mugrug. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Completed mine today and it should go in the mail to Shieshie1 (Denise) tomorrow. I took a picture, but have yet to figure out how to resize/post a picture from my iPad. Could I please email it to one of the swappers, and you could perhaps post? Thank you -- just PM me your email if you can help me.

Hope you can tell from the pix that right side up it is "dm", with the front like a mosaic (for "m") and the back in a batik print of dolphins (for the "d") Just a little bit of the Caribbean to take the chill off your Chicago winter!

Thank you Evelyn! I got my mugrug today, and I love it. The colors are so pretty, I'm calling it kind of a coral rose, with turquoise stitching. I don't know if the picture will allow you to read it clearly, but it says Lovely, Loving, Legendary, Ladylike, and Loyal, with the letters in my name (Linda) lining up vertically and stitched in green. I always enjoy your creativity Evelyn, and this is no exception. Smile

Beautiful work everyone; I am very confused and wrote a PM to the group. I finished the mugrug for Sue B, but due to work constraints I haven't been able to mail it, yet she says she rec'd one from me. Were we supposed to make one for everyone?
Also, Sue B, you said you mailed on the 19th and I haven't rec'd it yet. Altho the 19th should have been a US Mail holiday, so maybe that's no so far off.
If anyone can help w/ my confusion since this is my 1st mugrug swap.
Thank you

I need to apologize to Wiley and the folks on this thread. I have been having 'chine problems and am so far behind on getting this project done. It has to go back to the shop and find out what the problem is. Thought he'd fixed it once but nopers.

The stitch regulator is malfunctioning making super tiny stitches (as in on top of one another) and then the fabric gets jammed into the needle hole, etc.

Will you please take my IOU until he can get this cleared up. I am really sorry.
