There's some beautiful work here but I will only commment on two because they are my favorite subjects and I've little time to make comments today.
SewHappy, the Moonglow is fabulous. I adore her patterns and you did a wonderful job with this one.
Flowers always catch my eye and Mountain Laurel, yours with the little white picket fences are adorable. A great idea.

I just love this thread with all its great projects being posted. Keep up the good work everyone.

Everyone's work is fantastic this week. Y'all have been busy at the sewing machine.

Like Quiltbea, I'm going to only comment on one item because there are just too many to make an individual comment on this time.

SewHappy, your Moonglow quilt is beautiful. I have admired that quilt/pattern for years but since I'm not a paper piecer (yet), I knew I would never be able to tackle making it. Bozie, there is a free pattern for that quilt on the Jenny Beyer site here. It says it's good until March 15 but it's still showing up as available. Now, bear in mind that it's 76 pages for the pattern & the revisions have 33 pages. Eek That alone is enough to intimidate me!

Finished a top today. Waiting for the dryer to piece the backing together. I'm so proud I used so much of my scraps but I still have LOTS of these rectangles. The idea is from a Judy Turner book Successful Scrap Quilts.

Here's one of the blocks. I love how the rectangles sew so easily together.

Evelyn, love, love, love your quilt, are all those strips the same size? and what size are they? I have a carton of strips that I could use in a quilt like that.

Thank you for your compliments on MoonGlow, it really is fantastic!

I purchased it as a kit, they are all Jinny Byer fabrics. Not all the blocks are paper pieced, there are regular pieced ones also. I was very happy with all but one, it has a wonky center and I couldn't get it to flatten out, hopefully the quilter will work miracles with that one!

I really like your scappy one Evelyn, good job!

Keep calm and carry on

Moonglow is indeed awesome! I was perusing an old quilt magazine this weekend and saw the kit for sale. I drooled all over it. Nice job!

Wanda, the scraps are cut 2"x3 1/2" which is a lovely size for small scraps. I also have boxes of 3 1/2" squares and 2" squares. I've made three big quilts and several baby quilts using these rectangles. The idea is from Judy Turner's book Successful Scrap Quilts. She based the rectangles on traditional Japanese tatami mats. They're always rectangles the size of two squares. The ones I used finish at 1 1/2" x 3" but I'm planning a batik quilt using larger rectangles perhaps 3 1/2" x 6 1/2" (3"x6" finished) or 3" x 5 1/2" ( 2 1/2"x5" finished). I love having more surface area of batiks to show with the gradation of colors in them. The tatami mats can be laid out in many arrangements. Here's some:
