3 of us decided to take a chic trip and attend the Paducah show in 2013.
We know it is kinda late to be looking for lodging but can anyone help with some suggestions?

Anyone have a room they have booked and need to unload?

Thanks for any help you can give us. We are driving from TX and LA.

Try for rooms a little distance away. One year heard a vendor say they were an hour away. We've stayed 20 miles out Super 8, Culver City. I think. Some stay in IL. Good Luck.

Try Metropolis, Illinois just across the Ohio River from Paducah. My BFF and I stumbled on this town enroute to some friends home. So glad we did. It is the home of Superman and there is a statue of him in the town center. Google Metropolis for more info. Looks like plenty of places to stay. Good luck.

We always stayed in a little condo on a lake at a resort in Eddieville. It is out close to a place called Patties Settlement that serves bread baked in clay pots and their specialty is two inch thick pork chops. I will try to find the name of the resort. They have cabins also and spots for motor homes. The condos will sleep 8 to 10 people.

My friend always makes the reservation but I googled it. It is called Holliday Hills Resort in Eddyville KY 800-337-8550. It is condos and cabins on Lake Barkley.

If you stay near Patti's Settlement, be sure to see the quilts at the senior citizens center. Small vendors, too. It is just across from Patti's.

If you call some places directly, you might have better luck than calling the reservation centers.

One year, you should have seen the look on some bikers faces when they learned there were no rooms in the area.

Again, good luck.
