Sister Sue, another lovely block! I do love your Stonehenge fabbies...are you using different colors of them in all of your blocks or will you have to double up on some of the colors? I am really trying to use only stash these days in my projects...have soooo much of it...but these Stonehenge fabbies are really delicious....may have to treat myself one of these days...

I got my block done, but not without my friend the seam ripper. I couldn't figure out where to put the other 2 5 1/4 inch squares. Then I put the pinwheel together and had to rip it out because it wasn't quite right. But I got it figured out.

Alex, that Stonehenge is a dream to work with. I've been helping Sue with it for quite a while and I love Love how nice it is to work with. I didn't help her with this block. She did it by herself.

Alex, thank you for the compliments. I think each of my blocks will be different. I have a bucket full of different Stonehenge and hopefully I will have enough to make all the blocks different. J Lu, love your red combination. Patty, your blues look great together. Great job done by all who have completed their block. Sue

Great blocks already! Kind of cool- the alphabet block of the month is also pinwheel based. Have a cold, so may not get to my block this week, but I might work on redrafting it (I am making mine 9" finished since I hand quilt and have TONS of unfinished tops due to their large size)

I haven't started my block yet... will probably be next week before I get to it.

Thank you! Have to be honest... my DH decided on color placement! My other blocks have two blues and a reddish color plus the background and I wanted to keep to that color palette. I was trying to decide where different colors should go, he's the artist in the family and came up with how it looks. I like it too and it goes well with the other three.

Well I cut out my block only to find out after I had it almost finish that it was way to big. Not a case of just triming the block down so now I have to take it all apart and resew it. Now I'm glad that I have a power seam ripper. It zips the blocks apart in seconds. Hope fully I will get to it today.

Sew Happy, you are ambitious. Looks like it will be beautiful.
Loving everyones blocks this month.
Finished mine but I'm still not sure I like it.
Feels like to much gold, but I am doing birthstones so it needs a gold "setting". Just not sure it will work so well with the others.

It's really an easy block just have to make sure you get the colors in the right places. What took the longest was cutting the strips.

Nana, love the rich colors in your block. Very nice and I do like how the darker colors play with the light.
Patricia Ann, very pretty and I think the gold looks good and the block looks like "diamond" to me!

Wow! Sew Happy & Handie... you tried that block! Very nice, both of them! The colors you both used are good... will you make more?

We've seen some beautiful blocks and I do like seeing all the color combinations and how they can make the block look different depending on the position.
The month is rolling along! Hope we get our 20+ finishers!

Sew Happy, I did my block by paper piceing. The worse part of the block was picking all the paper off of it.
Malou, no I don't think that I will make more of it.
