Long story short--dryer broke and was at DD's doing laundry yesterday. While there she gave me a box of large scraps and another box of fat quarters. They were not small boxes either. I had a rubbing good time because you know I had to dig threw both boxes and touch everything. Beautiful fabric. Oh and while I was there she told me to order my Christmas gift. Went on line and picked out fabric from Connecting threads that was 50% off. She told me to not open the box until Christmas. That will be a hard thing to not do but I will obey her wishes. Need to go do laundry more times in her place.

Bet you both had fun shopping together. What a neat memory. Something about making lemonade out of lemons or broken dryer. LOL

You are very lucky to have loved ones who buy you quilt things! I was told my Christmas wish list was boring! But it is things I would love to have and will never buy myself!
