    this is applebetty's post:

well I got another great package. first a bobbin saver,(never saw one like that before) 3 blue fat quarters, I am getting quite a few of these and am saving them for a special project just for me. 2 spools of thread, a tube of Udderly hand cream,a 120 inch tape measure, chocolate candy, and a beautiful blue and white small quilt. I just love the idea of using it as a table topper. I goes with the blue in my kitchen and just the right size too.You make me jelious and happy with the great homemade things you have been sending me each month. I know that I will never be as good at quilting as you are. My post mistress just loves my packages. I always open my package at post office and share with her. THANK YOU THANK YOU The weather the last few days has been pretty warm. I need to get motivated and do something with my flower beds. I just love flowers but am not much at doing yard.

Mary Engelbreit was sure in my box. I got some wonderful note cards and a great magnetic note pad. I love these note pads as I can hang them all around. I am a big "note maker". LOL!!Also a beautiful journal and I will use that for sure. 4 beautiful pieces of fabric. A cross stitch kit with hummingbirds and flowers. There was a net bag with candy and inside was a tissure wrapped package. WOW!! Inside that package was 4 beautiful thimbles. I just love them. There was also a big box which I thought right away, good, a box of cards to use. WRONG!! It was even better than that. There was a BEAUTIFUL tea set with tray!!! Such a terrific gift. I love tea pots and sets. I collect tea pots and also "fab" addition to my collection.
OH MY!!! We girls with SS are the luckiest people in the world. They remember us every month and send us just the most perfect gifts.

I got my wonderful box today. Thank you BSS you did great I loved everything. I got a McCalls quilting magazine, quilters label, triangle trimmers, rotary blade for pinking, rhinestone cross to put on a shirt, thread holder will definietly come in handy, 4 beautiful fat quarters, a lot of embroidery floss, glitter, two pieces of beautiful fabric one that is multicolored and the other is black with some designs, purple pincushion, magnetic quilters seam quide will definetley come in handy, self-threading needles, 2 wooden cats which I can paint any color I want and some yummy candy! I am eating the sour skittles right now they were just too tempting!

P.S. some hints for the future I like any bright colored fabric, the magazines that you have sent are great since i don't subscribe to them and they have a lot of good ideas. I have been learning to work with thangles and it is going good. Any patterns is fine they help a lot to look at them first to get an idea before reading the directions. I also like the kits that have fabric to go with them, since I am not to go with matching just like my clothes just throwing whatever I get my hands on. Hope this helps you a little bit if not just let me know on the forum.

I got it, I got it.
I'm sorry I'm late posting this but I spilled soda on my mouse and it stopped working right after I took pics of the contents so I couldn't post til I went out and bought a new one. Its a wireless one and I'm trying to get used to it. It seems to want to dance all over the place, that little arrow.

My SS is just terrific and I'm thrilled to have her.
    1) Almost a 2-yd piece of printed fleece. Its lovely. I'm already thinking of its use. Maybe a snuggler for me watching tv at nite. I can always use another in the winter time.
    2) My usual 2 calendar quilt block kits. I can't wait to get to work on these.
    3) 2 Fancy cocoa packages, Raspberry and Irish Creme. I love my hot cocoa in the mornings. I can't wait to try one tomorrow morning.
    4) 3 lovely FQs for my stash. At least one of them is suitable for a feathered star block and all beautiful. I love them.
    5) The cutest little coin purse, shaped like a little sock. Its adorable. I never have a coin purse on me and really needed one. How did you know? I usually toss the coins in my pocket and then have a hard time digging them out of the bottom when I need change for a purchase. Of course, these days I'll just tuck the coins I get as change, into the purse til I get home because I'm saving for the COF Retreat next year.

You are one super duper SS and I would hug you big time if you were here. Thank you soooo much.

WOW BSS you had me stumpted with this month's box. I couldn't remember ordering a Rowenta iron but the way the past few months have been anything is possible. When I finally looked at the front of the box I realized it was my BSS box, Yeah!!!! As always you come up with some interesting things to put in my box, you are so creative. I absolutely loved the fabric. I'm thinking the True Friends fabric would make a lovely wall hanging and the other fabric just make makes me want to smile, it's a keeper to do something fun with. Thanks for the chocolate and kleenex I'll put both to good use. The Block Tool will come in very hand I'm sure. Thank your mom so much for the needles. I have a sewing basket with a very similar motif. The little milk bottle is great for change but I think I'll have to fill it about 100 times to foot the bill Smile Now the Armadillo Milk, who knew you could milk an armadillo. I liked the part on the lable about it making men nocturnal and amorous. I'm thinking I might try some out of the BF. I'll let you know how it works out and if it's true I think I'll order a case of it. This evening I'll sitting down and checking out our magazine. I like the idea of being able to share ideas and comments with my BSS. As always you're the best. Don't forget to tell your Mom I said HI! and thanks for thinking of me. I'll see you in 2009!!!!!
    Your LSS

My box came today and WOW is all I can say. She sure knows what I like.

    In the box was:
    - a pack of FQ's in blues my favorite color.
    - Yellow marking pencil - I needed a new marking pencil and will work with alot of colors.
    - a Loraile Designs tin that is a Special Occasions Emergency Kit (reapair kit for clothing) a real must for my business travles.
    - bambo skewers for using as a stiletto, I use them all the time and also use them when marbeling fabric.
    - Counted cross stitch kit that says Forget me Not. Soo Cute.
    - Ruler Handle - I can't wait to try this out. I have looked at them but just never bought one.
    - Blocks kits #3, #4 and #5, She game me #1 last month. Oh I hope #2 isn't lost. I want to do them all. They have hand embroidery you do on them also.
    - A quilted post card book. Now SS I need your address so I can make a few and send them to you so will you please PM me your address? Big Grin
    - a nice note as always.

You are the best SS in the whole world. I love everything you send.

The seeds you sent last month have been growing but not bloomed yet. When they do I will sure shoe them to you.

I did get the first block from last month done and can't wait to get started on these also.

The rest of the books would be nice but don't hurry, I will be busy with all these blocks, lol.

Thank you again, I really do love all you send.

Happy Mother's Day to you also! It is going to rain here but Saturday will be beautiful so I will celebrate it then.

OOOPPPSS! I forgot the red thing in the lower left hand corner of the picture. I have never seen anything like it and I filled it right away with some CQ items so I can take them with me to work on my month Victorian little blocks from that website I go to, It is a zippered hippo. I do have to say that it was upside down when I opened the box and it looked like 2 b o o b s! I cracked up then I read the tag. It is cute. Where in the world did you find it. I would love to get one for a friend but she can't have mine. I am going to use it at work for when I have a little time on my lunch break.

Cute little box, cute little doo-dads.

Lots of doll embellishments--ribbons, flowers, bows, etc. A beautiful little paper-piecing pattern. A wrist pin cushion--very handy. Mini-post-it notes. A beautiful b&w fq--no, Jayardi can't have it.

Hmmmm, SS, I'll have to visit dollmaker's journey and let you know what makes me drool. Well, actually just about everything there does. So, I'll just have to pick.

You're so sweet--I just love your packages and notes. BTW, my zip code is 77071-1122. I think you left part off, but the good ole post office managed to get it to me anyway.

    Thanks a million--you're the best.
