got it at the Ann Arbor,Mi Salvation Army.
along with my other one, i think that means I now have a "collection"..lol My SIL got the black one for me a few years ago..
does it work?
Aw that is such a little sweetie Kim! Enjoy!
haven't tried it yet. says it runs on a 1.5 volt battery. The black one works! (hand crank)
info i found on it:
A bright pink KAYanEE Sew Master toy sewing machine from the 1950's. This lttle machine is hand operated by turning the handwheel to raise and lower the needle - which is missing. Some scratching and paint loss but little rust on this "elderly" toy made from sturdy sheet metal.
The KAYandEE Corporatiuon of America manufactured toy sewing machines in Berlin,m Germany in the U.S. Zone after Worled War II. Many of the sewing machines were offered in the Montgomery Ward Christmas catalogs from 1954 thrugh 1963. This will make a bright spot in your collection of toy sewing machines!
Do you want to start another collection??!! Send it to me , ME, MINE! I already have a collection but not a pink one so this would fit in just fine on the shelf. Cute!
Oh! Oh! Oh! The perfect Valentine for you! Hugs and Kisses!!!! muuuuaaaaaaaaa! I love it. It has a loving home now.
"It's bad to supress laughter. It goes back down and spreads to your hips."
