When I wasn't at the vet's or in the garden, I was getting almost caught up with my bunnies.
I finished the pink, tan and whatever 4-patches and squares to put around the blocks.
I finished Round 2 at last with the Leaping Bunny.

And then I finished Round 4, Easter Hat Bunny.
Tomorrow I'll continue with the others and even put the squares around the blocks I've already finished. My day is planned. LOL

Wow, Sandra, you're almost caught up! And they are all beautiful...I really love the green you chose for the basket ribbon, it is so cheerful.

Before you know it, you'll be done!

I finished Round 5, the Tulips block.
I learned that you really need deep contrast if you want it to show up beneath the overlay. My tulips look one color yet they are two different colors, but I'm not changing them.

Golly quiltbea your blocks are wonderful boy you sure were busy getting them all done.

Here is a picture of the label I have been working on today, just finished putting it on the back of my quilt. Now just have the dogwood blosoom to do and that will also go on the back of the quilt.
I really think I will be making another one of these and thoughts keep popping into my mind that I might even try and enter it into a quilt show I just love how it turned out thanks to a great teacher Kathy.

    Quiltbea,

I love the tulips and daffodil bunny blocks as well...boy, you've been busy!

Well, here's another on the way!...I'm going to send out the last block,...the dogwood shortly to Group B. This will finish the design. Hope you enjoy it...and have enjoyed the challenge.

First one to post the finished block gets a prize...and the next one to finish their quilt (sorry Dorie, you jumped the gun...) will also get a prize...so Happy Sewing!

    Kathy

I tried a couple different ways to do hand stitching on this project and decided I am not good at this at all. But I have all the patterns, so am going to do mine in shadow applique. I had already bought all the fabric for it. So even though I am not in the challenge any longer. I WILL get this done!!!! LOL
Thanks so much for the patterns Kathy, and when you do the next one, I will start out doing shadow applique and I will win at least once!!! Smile

For those in Group B...who might not understand TISME's note...

I canceled the challenge for Group A tonight, when I sent out their Round #4 patterns. I went ahead and sent out all the other rounds for them...so they could finish the quilt at their own pace...and so I could move on to other things that are occuping my time.

So...For Group B...get busy. Char 77, Mesajo, Newtoquilt, Notimequilter, Quiltbea, and SewandSew "I know you are all well on your way to joining Dorie_Ga in finishing your quilt". The challenge is still on for you!...first one to post a picture of the Dogwood gets a prize...and first one to post a picture of the finished quilt top gets a prize...and the next one to post a picture of the finished quilt completely quilted will get a prize. Please continue to post your pictures on this string.

And Dorie...to be completely fair, I've had a second thought...and you are already getting a very special prize...as the "Teacher's Pet". When you post the dogwood block...I'll be sending you something as well.

To the rest of Group B and to Group A...please post your photos of completed quilts on the string for things you've completed that week...when they are done, as I'll not be checking this string after the remainder of Group B posts...Thanks Smile

Hope you all have enjoyed the patterns...and will continue to pursue applique in any form (but particularly in shadow-applique Smile style)...

Now, where are those dogwood blocks!!?

Thank you for your efforts in the challenge. I am sorry that I am one of the Group A that has not been current. As you say life sure does get in the way. I took on too much and the things I really want to do have suffered.
Again thank you for the patterns. Are you going to do another shadow class? It seems very interesting.

I even surprised myself today, getting all those blocks done. I even have them all in their sashings so now I have to sew them together, add the 4-patch and squares border all around them and the two outer borders. Its been fun.
