Saw your post on the fabrics gifted thread about shawls. Was wondering if you use a pattern to make them. They would be great for nursing home patients.

I searched on the internet for Prayer Shawl patterns. But any rectangle pattern would work. Most of them are 16" by 60".

I dont know how she made hers but a little pocket on each end would be great. Wonder how a triangle would do? I saw on tv a demo of a large square of lite weight fabric used for a little cover or folded into a triangle for a shawl. It was tied in the back after draping over the shoulders and under the arms to keep it from falling off but you wuld have to be sure the knot was comfortable. Guess there are lots of ideas.
