A question was asked about sending more than one set:
You can send as many sets as you'd like, just keep in mind the total number of swappers because you might get some repeats back.
For example, lets say we have 9 swappers. 8 people send in one set (9 squares) and I send in two sets (18 squares) = I will get 2 squares from every other swapper.
Easy, right?
If we get 18 swappers then I can send in 2 sets without expecting any repeats.
OR
if all 9 swappers send in 2 sets then no repeats. Unless one person sends in 3 sets, lol.
If anyone tells me they're sending in more than one set I'll note it by their name so everyone can estimate.
Would ya'll consider chinese characters as being text?
Wouldn't it be easier to send in one 6 inch square for each person. Then we will all have one from each of us. For instance if we have 10 swappers then we send in 10 squares one for each. Then we will all have one of each.

Erma - if you want to send in one for each swapper that's cool, just make sure you remind me when it's time to swap them out, lol.
I specified sets of 9 because that's how many 6" squares you can get from a FQ & folks can pick their fabric without having a final count of swappers since I didn't set a deadline.
I forgot to say, No, it doesn't have to be washed.
My plans don't include washing, lol. But if you want them for a washable project those small pieces are easy to throw in the sink with some hot water and then just iron them dry
I was out at the fabric shop yesterday, and saw so many text fabrics, made me think of this swap. I even purchased a couple cause I thought they would make adorable mugrugs...lol

I think different colors would be different sets. So if you wanted to send in one 'blue' set & one 'red' set that would be fine. Or you could just send in one set that contains some blue and some red. Can I add u to the list?
To facilitate shopping your stash: you can have a mixed set but each different set must have different fabrics. For example: I send in set 1 with 9 different fabrics, set 2 can't re-use any fabrics from the first set.
Happy Monday!! Getting any sewing done? It was rainy all day yesterday & after church & lunch I pretty much just watched football with DH & read a little.
DH = dear husband or hubbie. In real life I usually call him sugar daddy unless he's being grouchy
Yeah, I'm excited to see what everybody comes up with, too! I've got my text fabrics sitting in the front of my drawer so I don't lose track of them before January, lol. I was shopping for my SSSS @ was pleasantly surprised how many different ones there are in the store! Even Christmas ones if our swap was a little earlier but I limited myself to two new non-Christmasy ones, lol.
Yeah I got a little carried away. This is going to be a fun swap. I'm putting mine in the mail tomorrow so I can get on with my other challenges. I can't leave stuff sit for to long ill forget what I'm doing. A.D.D. I think.
I call my husband "honeysuckle" and I'm his little Jennybean.
I've been trying to organize my sewing spot & gt all my fabric in one place. Would u believe I found 3 more text fabrics?! I also found my little collection of self-portrait ATCs from that swap we did a few years ago, it made me smile This message has been edited. Last edited by: toryam,
